About us

Nauli sisters

Nauli

means beautiful and for us this means made with great care, a loving eye for details and environmental awareness in every step of our production.

Nauli

is the name of our Indonesian grandma, who was sewing our first dolls cloth in our kindergarten-times with us and gave our child souls unforgettable happy moments.

Nauli

is a little sister company, based near Munich, Germany. During her study of Kommunikations Design (Graphic Design) in Augsburg, Germany and Fine Arts in Yogyakarta Indonesia, Eva-Dewi never put her hands off craft. Her CD/ DVD case became a bestseller on small craft markets in the area since 2000 and she also made herself a name as a doll maker. She always was supported by her sister Johanna for filling the booth with other colorful handmade things.

End of 2008 both sisters changed the Nauli project to become a serious business and opened a shop at Tollwood, a major Christmas Market in Munich. However we stepped back again, and started selling online one year later in October 2009.

Since then, Nauli became a supplier of CD/ DVD folios for photographers and shipps worldwide. We have been overhelmed by the positive response to our DVD/CD case, accordion books, folders and albums, so that we build our other product lines slowly. While we just opened our standalone shop for our paper products here, you can find our extraordinary knit and crochet line from natural yarns, Nauliknits on Etsy and Eva-Dewi's Waldorf inspired dolls and our line of kids bags, music pillows, baby blankets and lavender filled animals at littleNauli on Etsy, too.
